About Gaaj Foundation
The GAAJ Foundation is a dedicated initiative to honor the legacy of the great Maratha naval commanders — Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre. Rooted in Alibag, the foundation aims to inspire the youth with stories of maritime valor, patriotism, and leadership while working towards nation-building through awareness, education, and empowerment.
Objectives of the Organization
1. Preserve and promote the maritime heritage of Sarkhel Kanhoji.
2. Organize educational, cultural, and career-guidance programs for youth.
3. Build national pride through historical awareness and community engagement.
4. Collaborate with defense and naval personnel for youth inspiration.
5. Support skill development and leadership training among coastal youth.
